Registering A Domain Name at GoDaddy.com

How To Register A Domain Name

I normally don't discuss things this basic, but I have been seeing so many want-to-be entrepreneurs that get stuck with some of the most basic steps and keep themselves from taking steps forward.

If you want to make money online and if you want to own your own website, then you'll need to register a domain name. A domain name is the name of your website. You can do this for around $10 per year. This is NOT hosting. Domain name registration just gives you a name of a website. That's it.

So how do you register a domain name? It is very, very simple. However, many people will get confused because companies will try to upsell you fifty other services or options. Right now all you need is to register a domain name.

Keep it simple. Spend the $10 and get a domain name registered for one year.

This video walks you through the steps at GoDaddy.com:
