Increase Your Profits

How To Boost Your Profits By As Much as 50% This Month!

Can I let you in on a secret that is so simple, yet so powerful that it could increase your profits by as much as 50% this month alone?
It's called the upsell.
I still know of plenty of businesses both online as well as offline that fail to use an upsell approach at the point of purchase. An upsell simply offers your customer something more than what they are in the process of buying. You could upsell a bigger and better version of your product or service, an additional product that complements what they are buying, a how to guide, or whatever else can give value to your customer.
Fast food chains use the upsell every day to make millions of dollars more each year. When you order a cheeseburger at McDonalds, they immediately ask if you want fries with that. Or they will ask you to supersize it for 50 cents more or whatever it is.
This is an upsell.
I have a website in a niche market that sells a $69 information product. When the customer clicks on the buy button they immediately get hit with an upsell. The upsell is for an additional $97 product that complements the first product they are in the process of buying. This takes the total sale to $166 from $69. I have found over time that approximately 25 %- 30% of customers choose the higher price point and buy the upsell.
If only 3 customers per day purchased the upsell, then that would be almost $9000 extra per month pure profit (the $97 product that I upsell is digitally delivered so there is no cost to me).
I have another product that offers an upsell at the point of purchase that raises the price of the product by 20%. I have found that 75% of the customers choose the higher price point. I've found that if your upsell is less money than the main product they are buying, then more customers will purchase it. This of course will vary depending on the market you are in and you will need to test it yourself to find what works best.
The first time I convinced a student of mine to offer an upsell at the point of purchase he began profiting an extra $1000 per month.
Offering an upsell is a very simple technique to skyrocket your profits without doing any additional work. The problem is that I see too many businesses not offering an upsell to their customers. Why wouldn't they offer additional services or products?
For starters, they may not understand how the technique works and may have never thought of it. Not all business owners are great marketers. Secondly, sometimes business owners feel like they are interrupting the sale or are being too aggressive. I say hogwash! It is your duty to get your products and services into the hands of people that need them. If you believe in what you sell, then you need to present it to customers and give them an option to buy it if they choose.

If you are looking to start a home-based business and you are looking for low startup cost with low overhead and flexible hours, then the internet is where you want to be.

Making money from home using nothing but your computer is an amazing feeling. You never have to fight rush hour traffic and you can spend time with the people that you care about and earn as much money as you want to earn. It sometimes seems to good to be true. I personally know of hundreds of people that do exactly what I'm talking about and I'm one of them.

We are like an underground community that silently puts out a net to capture some of the raging river of cash that is being spent on the world wide web by customers all around the world. I wake up every morning with money in my account from customers in several countries. The most common are the U.S.A, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. But I also make sales to people in Japan, United Arab Emirates, France, Mexico, Spain, Iceland, Ireland, and more.

How does this work?

It's acutally quite simple. I send prospects to my different websites that offer a product or service that they are interested in and then I make an irresistable offer to them so that they practically whip out their credit cards and beg me to take their money. They enter their information, hit submit, and presto they've just purchased from me. Most of my product and services are digital downloads... this means that I have no inventory for them and the customers download the product from the internet just moments after purchasing.

This is a beautiful thing because then I don't have anything to ship. The transaction is done automatically and on autopilot. They pay, they download the product, their happy. I don't have to take phone calls or go to the post office or deal with predetermined hours. Customers can buy from me at anytime from anywhere in the world and the transaction is completed without me having to do anything. I do get a little customer service now and again, but the majority of it is handled via email and I also outsource that work to an independent contractor.

How This Self-Proclaimed "Lazy-Ass" Internet Marketer Rakes It Truckloads Of Cash... Day After Day, 7 Days Per Week...
While His Business is on Complete Autopilot!


My business this month will do approximately $60,000 in sales. That figure is not huge by any means and most people might believe it to be a small number and not impressive. It becomes more impressive, however, when you learn that it is done 100% using the internet from my home in my underwear. I have no employees. I don't have an office. I have no commute in rush hour traffic.

This is ALL done by driving thousands of prospects to my websites and then letting my website make a sale. I don't have to answer a phone. I don't talk to customers. Any customer service is handled by email.

I spent time in Las Vegas in August and then in the month of September I travelled to West Palm Beach, Florida for vacation and then I flew to Chicago for a four day getaway and then I spent four days in San Diego. I took my laptop to check in on things, but mostly I just check to see how much money is being deposited into my bank accounts each day.
I like to spend time with friends and you can often find me at an expensive seminar that charged $2,000 or more to attend. I only spend the money so I can go have fun and meet new people in this business.
When others ask me what I do, I often respond with "I'm a lazy-ass internet marketer" because I sometimes go months without doing much work. I'll brainstorm ideas because I really enjoy doing it, however, most people that know me well would say that I don't have a job and I don't work. The truth is that I do work... it's just much different than what most people are use to. Like I mentioned before, I like to spend time brainstorming... that is work. I also will spend some time making changes to my websites or my marketing messages. Again, that's work also. It just isn't really hard work and I can do it from anywhere at anytime.

You may ask yourself, "Ryan Ringold, are you really that lazy? I'm mean c'mon... nobody can make that kind of money without working!"
I'd like to tell you that I work my ass off day in and day out to bring in that kind of money (approx $60,000 this month). However, when you follow certain principles of marketing and apply them to the internet you can basically set up your business to be on complete autopilot. Money comes in day after day without having to do anything. Before this happened though, I spent hundreds of hours setting up my business.

Back in late 2001 I didn't know anything about internet marketing. I understood marketing because I had also been in sales and marketing. I had tried to start several businesses that usually ended in failure. When I began online I had been bankrupt once and was $30,000 in debt again.

It took me approximately 1200 hours to learn how to initially make money using the internet. Since then I've spent thousands and thousands of hours and tens and tens of thousands of dollars to become very good at what I do and to set up my businesses to run without me. Now, that is WORK. I had to have an operation on my elbow from being on the computer so much that I now have a 4 inch scar that reminds me of my journey to get where I am today.

There is no need to put in the time and effort that I put in back in 2001-2002 because there are people willing to show you how to do what I do. Most coaches charge high fees to pass their hard earned knowledge onto you, however, it is available so that you don't have to go through the learning curve that I went through. If I had any money back when I started, I would have hired somebody to help me get up and running much quicker. But as fate had it... I was broke and had to learn on my own. I don't regret it because it was a great journey... but still one that you do not have to travel.

Through the years I have helped several people make money from home using the internet. The first person that I took on as a student was my own brother. I begged him for almost two years to let me help him make money online before he finally joined me. Within one and half years of getting started he was doing around $25,000 per month on the internet. The second person I helped was a friend of a friend and within 45 days he was earning an extra $3000 to $4000 per month from his new online business.

I love watching someone's face when they make that first dollar online. The latest project I took on involves my father and his site after 6 months reached $46,539.20 in online sales-- that is in the 6 month alone (not all 6 months added together)! Not too shabby either.

I've had many people ask me if I will offer my services to help people either make more money using the internet or help people get started making money online. The answer is yes I do offer these services. I've also started this site so that you can ask me questions and get help. It will be my way of helping individuals learn what they need to know to make these kinds of dollars from their personal computer.
